Job Description
Apt Resources is actively seeking an experienced Rough Diamond Evaluator to join our client’s mining operations in Angola. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, grading, and appraising rough diamonds directly at the mining site, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of rough diamonds.
- Grade diamonds utilizing the 4Cs: Carat, Color, Clarity, and Cut.
- Determine market value through in-depth analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all evaluations.
- Work collaboratively with geologists and mining staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Gemology or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
