Job Description
Type of Contract: Service Contract (SC) — Management Services. Duty Station: Peshawar, Pakistan. Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension).
Responsibilities: operate UN fleet vehicles including HTV trucks, forklifts, towing and water-bowser trucks; perform daily checks, basic maintenance and minor repairs; collect fuel; maintain logbooks and vehicle cleanliness; observe security procedures; assist with basic translation for international staff when required; and report incidents promptly.
Qualifications: secondary school completion, valid HTV license, minimum two years’ safe-driving experience (preferably with UN or international organizations), knowledge of vehicle safety and basic first aid, radio/communications proficiency, and fluency in the UN language used at the duty station and the local language.
