Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Social Safeguard Specialist to ensure project adherence to environmental and social policies, lead safeguards assessments, and oversee mitigation planning and monitoring.
- Responsibilities: perform environmental and social impact assessments, prepare safeguards documentation, coordinate stakeholder consultations, and report compliance to project teams and financiers.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Development, or a related field; at least 5 years of relevant experience; strong knowledge of safeguard frameworks and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
