Job Description
Texitech is actively seeking a committed Import Officer to become a vital part of our team. In this position, you will oversee the entire Import Procurement Cycle, focusing on critical tasks such as documentation, management of Letters of Credit (LCs), and negotiating bank contracts. You will be responsible for meticulously preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documents while liaising with key stakeholders, including forwarding agents, shipping lines, and customs clearing agents.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of freight terms, Inco terms, customs duties, and related areas. A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.COM) or Business Administration (BBA) and at least one year of experience in Import Procurement are mandatory.
