Responsibilities:

• Operational support in maintaining a 24×7 environment and handle high performance engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA and Data Science teams on environment maintenance, monitoring (ELK, Prometheus or equivalent), deployments and diagnostics
• Administer a hybrid datacenter, including AWS and EC2 cloud assets
• Administer, automate and troubleshoot container based solutions deployed on AWS ECS
• Be able to troubleshoot problems and provide feedback to engineering on issues
• Automate deployment (Ansible, Python), build (Git, Maven. Make, or equivalent) and integration (Jenkins, Nexus) processes
• Learn and administer technologies such as ELK, Hadoop etc.
• A self starter and enthusiasm to learn and pick up new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Person who is passionate about automation, self-driven and a quick learner.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills combined with ability to get things done in a fast paced environment
• Familiarity with Agile, Multi-tenancy, Site reliability concepts such as SLA, SLO , Error, budgets
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and distributed system principles (load balancing, high availability, server-based and serverless architecture, database configurations)
• Operational support experience in maintaining a 24×7 environment and high performance engineering teams.
• Solid Linux/Unix System Administration and scripting skills for automation
• Hands-on Experience in Cloud based DevOps
• Solid Experience working in AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudFront, ECR, ECS, AWS, VPC, networking and security (certification preferred)
• Experience using Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning, release and patch deployments
• Experience with CI/CD solutions and tooling such as Jenkins or equivalent.
• Experience in Python, Shell Scripting.
